Looking for a Memoir Coach or Editor

Looking for a Memoir Contest to Enter?

Looking for a Memoir Conference to Improve Your Skills and Meet Sister Writers?

If you responded yes to any of these, we’ve got you covered today.

STRUGGLING TO COMPLETE YOUR MEMOIR? A MEMOIR COACH OR EDITOR MAY BE JUST WHAT YOU NEED

Kendra and I have been incredibly busy with teaching, writing and publishing. As many of you know, we just finished a highly successful launch of four anthology ebooks in our series Seasons of Our Lives: Award-Winning Stories from WomensMemoirs.com (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter). These four ebooks were ranked #2, #3, #4, #5 on Amazon’s bestseller list for writing skills for three days and remained in the top 100 for eight days. (If you are interested in learning more about these four volumes, just click on the book covers to the right.)

We only take a few individual clients for one-on-one coaching or for editing. I am pleased to let you know that Kendra currently has a couple of places open. If you want a coach to move you toward your goal or if you have part of your manuscript complete and are ready for a top-notch editor, contact Kendra ( kendra (at) womensmemoirs (dot) com ) to see if the match is right for you. She can work with you as your editor, even if you have not completed your manuscript. Many of our clients find that they learn so much from Kendra’s editing of their early chapters, that they become better writers for their later chapters.

TEST THE WATER WITH A MEMOIR CONTEST
We recently had an email from B. Lynn Goodwin-Brown of WriterAdvice. She shared news with us about her flash fiction, memoir, and creative non-fiction contest. Entries must be 750 words or less. She says, “Enlighten, dazzle, and delight us. Finalists receive responses from all judges. First prize is $200. Submit to the 9th WriterAdvice Flash Prose Contest by April 18, 2014.” You can find complete details at www.writeradvice.com.
