Post #3 – Memoir Writing, Journaling – Amber Starfire
In her famous diary, Anne Frank wrote:
Sometimes I very much doubt whether in the future anyone will be interested in all my tosh. “The unbosomings of an ugly duckling” will be the title of all this nonsense.
Never, in her wildest dreams, could Anne Frank have imagined that her “tosh” would speak to millions. Most of us imagine that our lives are ordinary. After all, every day we breathe and sleep and eat much as anyone else. If we live long enough, we all experience childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. We all have families, problems, pains, and joys. So, we think, why should we bother to write any of it down?
