Memoir Telesummit: Free for You

I’m delighted to share with you the news that I’ll be speaking at the National Association of Memoir Writers’ free telesummit: Memoir in the New Millennium. Linda Joy Myers, President of NAMW, has put together five memoir experts and I’m honored to be in their company.

All the details are below. It’s easy to sign up and to listen in live or to get a recording of the entire day’s events. I hope I get to speak with you during my hour — beginning at 3 pm (Pacific Daylight Time). I will have just finished my double session on Writing Alchemy: How to Write Fast and Deep at the Oklahoma Writers’ Federation, Inc. annual conference in Norman, Oklahoma and will be jazzed and eager to share my thinking around the topic of “And the Walls Come Tumbling Down.” Talk with you one week from today, May 3, at NAMW’s telesummit.

  • Stephanie Chandler, founder and CEO of http://AuthorityPublishing.com–specializing in custom publishing for nonfiction books and social media marketing services–will discuss how as we develop our voice and message, we need to find our niche to have success

  • Joel Friedlander, an award-winning book designer, blogger, and author of A Self-Publisher’s Companion: Expert Advice for Authors Who Want to Publish will discuss the importance of creating a beautiful book that is accessible to a large audience.

  • Matilda Butler, co-founder of Women’s Memoirs, will discuss “The Walls Come Tumbling Down” and examine the four pillars of memoir writing, areas you can easily embraces, and way to shore up the most important wall of all.

  • Linda Joy Myers, founder of the National Association of Memoir Writers, will moderate the all day conference.

  • I hope you can join us for this amazing day of learning and insight about writing your memoir and getting your message out into the world. Sign up for your free audio of the whole day, a resource you can listen to and learn from for months to come.
