Life, including daily blogging, teaching, and client coaching, tends to get in the way of work on our next book, Writing Alchemy. But we do make some progress each week. Because this book is designed for writers of all genres, not just memoir, we find ourselves delving into books that we usually don’t read.
One book that has intrigued me is called Starting from Scratch: A Different Kind of Writer”s Manual by Rita Mae Brown. As soon as I saw that she had a chapter on verbs, I know I had the perfect follow-on to Kendra’s exploration into adverbs with Stephen King. Therefore, our second audio focuses on verbs.
