Remember the 1960s and 1970s?
If you remember the sixties, you weren’t really there.
The author of that quote is in dispute (Grace Slick, Robin Williams, and about six others have been proposed as the source), but we’ve probably all heard it. We even know what it means. But that quote aside, many of us do remember the 60s and the 70s. We remember because those years changed us. One or more events or people or experiences during those years became the turning point in our lives that caused us to be the people we are today.
It is stories from those two decades that will be featured in an upcoming anthology being compiled by Kate Farrell, Linda Joy Myers, and Amber Starfire that is tentatively named: Times They Were A’Changing: Women Remember the 60s and 70s.
