Rosie’s Legacy Mug. Rosie the Riveter was a mythic figure in our culture, with good reason – she built ships, flew bombers, and filled thousands of other essential jobs in America’s World War II. She upended traditional views of women’s work. The question, “What work can women do?” became “Is there any work women can’t do?” In the following half century, the answer has been, “No!”
Rosie didn’t have her own mug, but we think she would like ours. We modeled it on her bandana with a message that honors her strength, courage and sense of empowerment. Enjoy this mug yourself. Give one to a daughter, a granddaughter, or a friend.
